This is definitely a book to check out.įTC: Recieved ARC as part of Around the World tours. I'm very excited to see where the characters will go next, whenever the sequel comes out. Barnes does a fantastic job of characterization and setting up this whole world without making it seem like an infodump. She's a perfectly well-rounded character, as are a lot of characters in the book. Anyway, Bryn is a wonderful heroine full of energy, bravery, but also has her flaws and is vulnerable in more ways than one. I know, two completely different things but hey, I think I'm right in lots of fields.). Mainly because I always think I'm right and that my way is the only way of doing things (this is the reason why I want to appoint myself as the only judge/voice of reason on shows like American Idol and Dancing with the Stars, or as someone who can make or break legislations.

I mean, I guess it all kind of pulled together in the end every event throughout the book had a purpose, but making it through those decisions was tough for me. Essentially, what I'm saying is that I didn't agree with some of the decisions made by Callum and others because it wasn't the logical thing to do. I'm not even sure if any of that makes sense. In reading about some of the decisions made supposedly "for the good of the Pack", I had to put the book down because it just made no sense to me. Barnes' focus on the Pack mentality and the hierarchy of everything was really interesting to read about, though at times, frustrating for the reader (or at least me) because of our different mindset. It's Bryn and Chase against the werewolf world, whatever the consequences."- summary taken from ARC
